JAFRAL CEO to speak at GAMRIC 2026 in Lisbon
JAFRAL is pleased to announce that our CEO, Dr. Frenk Smrekar, will take part as a panel speaker at the 2nd Global AMR Innovators Conference (GAMRIC), taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 22 to 24 September 2026.
Dr. Smrekar will join a panel discussion titled "Phage therapy as a narrow-spectrum antimicrobial strategy: from product concept to late-stage clinical development," addressing one of the most pressing challenges in the fight against antimicrobial resistance: how to move precision, narrow-spectrum therapies such as bacteriophages from early-stage product concepts through to late-stage clinical development.
GAMRIC brings together leading researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry innovators from around the world to advance the global response to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). JAFRAL's participation reflects our ongoing commitment to developing sustainable, targeted therapeutic solutions that address AMR without disrupting the wider microbiome.
