As Head of the Translational Microbiology Research Group, Dr. Kintsens leads cutting-edge research in bacterial genomics and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). His work has advanced our understanding of resistance development under antibiotic pressure (Nature Microbiology, 2025) and pioneered the integration of pathogen surveillance with phage–host mapping to enable precision phage therapy (Cell, 2024). He is the author of 30+ publications in leading scientific journals.
